Janelle Christian Selected as Outreach Director

We are pleased to announce that Janelle Christian has been selected for the position of Director, Office of Industry and State Outreach. Janelle has been a part of the outreach office since its inception and has played a leading role in coordinating our outreach efforts and evaluating the effectiveness of our outreach program. She has also led a number of bureau-wide initiatives that have resulted in improved guidance and outreach materials for industry.

Janelle joined TTB in 2011 as a Presidential Management Fellow in the Market Compliance Office and later served as a policy advisor. Janelle holds a master’s of public administration degree from Columbia University and a law degree from the University of Oregon.

Submitting Claim Forms to TTB Online

TTB understands that you rely on timely refunds when filing claims. 

To avoid potential delays related to mailing claim forms, we encourage you to use our electronic submission process to send your claim form and supporting documentation for that claim to TTB.

This process is only for submitting TTB Form 5620.8 Claim - Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Taxes.  Ensure you only attach one claim form per submission together with the required documentation.

TTB Accepts 3 Offers in Compromise for Failure to Pay Taxes

TTB has accepted offers in compromise from Schmaltz Brewing Company LLC, Mariposa Wine Company LLC, and Decon Laboratories, Inc., for alleged tax violations. 

You can see all TTB administrative actions on TTB.gov, including Offers in Compromise.
