Disaster Relief—Tornado Outbreaks
We want to express sympathy to everyone impacted by the recent tornados and severe weather systems.
If your business has been affected by a natural disaster, we understand that TTB is probably not the first thing you are worried about.
We’ve tried to make it easy for you to access the information you may need if your facility or your alcohol or tobacco products have been damaged in a natural disaster, or if you expect difficulty in paying your taxes on time.
Our Disaster Relief page contains links to information that can answer most of your questions. You may also call us toll free at 877-882-3277 or contact us online.
TTB Outreach at Recent ACSA Convention
Earlier this month, a team of TTB distilled spirits experts attended the American Craft Spirits Association (ACSA) Distillers’ Convention and Vendor Trade Show in Louisville, Kentucky, to provide education and answer distiller’s questions about TTB requirements. This was the first time we presented our full TTB Bootcamp for Distillers, a five-part seminar which covers:
- An overview of TTB and the laws and regulations covering distilleries
- Distilled spirits permits
- Recordkeeping, reports, and taxes
- Formulas
- Labeling
We also made a separate presentation on What to Do When You Have Unusual Products, and we had a booth on the trade show floor where we answered questions throughout the convention.
We believe that participating in events such as this benefits both industry and TTB, as it provides a great opportunity for learning and building relationships on both sides.
Semiannual Unified Regulatory Agenda Now Available
Are you interested in what regulatory projects we have planned? Each spring and fall, the federal government compiles and releases the Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions, which outlines the planned regulatory actions of all federal entities that currently have regulations under development or review.
The Fall 2021 edition of the Unified Agenda is now available at Reginfo.gov. To view information for the Department of the Treasury, including information on all planned TTB regulatory and deregulatory actions, select Department of the Treasury in the drop-down menu for the Select Agency search box at the bottom of that page.
