Lists of TTB Industry Members Available Online
Did you know you can access current lists of most TTB industry members on our website? Every week we publish updated lists of alcohol industry members who hold TTB Basic Permits under the Federal Alcohol Administration Act (FAA Act).
The lists include:
- Beverage spirits producers and bottlers
-
Wine producers and blenders
- Alcohol importers and wholesalers
Some TTB industry members, including breweries, industrial alcohol producers, and tobacco companies, do not get a Basic Permit under the FAA Act; instead they qualify to operate under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). The IRC protects taxpayer records from public disclosure, so we are not able to provide lists of those industry member types. We do, however, publish quarterly updates to a list of the total number of breweries by state, and that report is available on the same webpage.

Anatomy of a Wine Label Tool
Last week we highlighted the Anatomy of a Distilled Spirits Label tool, but we also have a wine label version. Use this interactive tool by clicking the various parts of the label to view what the requirements are for that label element.
If you are new to the world of wine labeling or just want a refresher, use this tool to learn about how to create a wine label that meets TTB requirements.
Submitting Claim Forms Online
We understand that you rely on timely refunds when filing claims.
To avoid potential delays related to mailing claim forms, we encourage you to use our electronic submission process to send your claim form and supporting documentation for that claim.
This process is only for submitting TTB Form 5620.8 Claim - Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Taxes. Ensure you only attach one claim form per submission together with the required documentation.
