Need Support in the Employment Process? Reasonable Accommodations May Help!

July WISE webinar: Ticket to Work and Reasonable Accommodations

Join us on July 24 for our next Work Incentive Seminar Event (WISE) webinar!

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) protects the rights of people with disabilities in many aspects of their daily lives, including their rights in the workplace. This month, our guest speaker, the Project Director of the Northeast ADA Center, Wendy Strobel Gower, will talk about the ADA and how reasonable accommodations may help you on your path to financial independence through work.

During this month’s webinar, we’ll answer questions such as:

  • What is the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)?
  • Do I have to disclose my disability?
  • What are reasonable accommodations and how can I request them?

We’ll also share how Ticket to Work service providers can help you along the way, whether it’s finding employment or requesting reasonable accommodations for a current job.
