Wreaths Across America Day 2024

The 15th annual Fort Jackson National Cemetery Wreaths Across America Ceremony will take place on December 14, 2024 at 12:00pm. You are invited come show your support by placing Memorial Wreath's on the graves of our country's fallen heroes. All families are welcome and will have the opportunity to place wreaths!

Wreaths will also be distributed across the M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC on the same day.

SC's 20th Purple Star school

Thomas Sumter Academy (TSA) has recently earned a Purple Star designation, highlighting their commitment to supporting the unique needs of military dependent students. With this addition, the state has a grand total of 20 Purple Star schools as of December 2024.
