Lexington One School District Receives Purple Star Designation
Lexington County School District One recently received its Purple Star recognition from the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC). Plus 30 students enlisted into the military during their Military Signing Day. These programs play a major part in providing support to military-connected students and boosting the importance of military service in South Carolina. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs recently announced that Veteran trust in USDVA has increased 25% reaching an all-time high since the Veteran Signals or “VSignals” survey initiative began in 2016. USDVA publishes trust score information quarterly based on these surveys.
