New Data Briefings to Inform Comment

Proposed Amendments Relating to Drug Offenses, Economic Offenses, and Simplification

The U.S. Sentencing Commission released two data briefing videos and two supplemental data handouts to inform public comment on proposed 2026 amendments.

The information presented by Commission staff is intended to facilitate public discussion of amendments proposed by the Commission in December. 

Public comment on proposed amendments will be accepted through February 10, 2026.
