 Request for Public Comment- Boggy Point Living Shoreline Project (Alabama Living Shorelines Program)
The Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council (Council) is seeking public comment on a proposal to fund implementation of ecosystem restoration activities located in Alabama under the Council’s Initial Funded Priorities List (FPL). Specifically, the Council is planning to vote on whether to approve the following:
Proposed Initial FPL Amendment for the Alabama Living Shorelines Program (Implementation)
- $5,341,500 in implementation funding for the Boggy Point Living Shoreline project.
Before voting on whether to approve funding, the Council is publishing this proposed FPL amendment for a 15-day public comment period beginning on September 22, 2026 and concluding at 11:59 pm (CST) on October 6, 2026. You may submit comments using one of the two methods below:
