Update your profile in the Open Data Portal
Starting July 23, all registered users can update their profile information in the Open Data Portal. When you visit our site, you’ll see a prompt to add information to your profile. This step is now optional but will be required beginning August 18. Starting that day, you’ll need to complete your profile in order to use the site. For more information on access and registration, visit this page with resources.
What to expect July 23
A pop-up window will prompt you to add information unless you already updated your profile in your USPTO.gov account.
