Design search codes for sound and motion trademarks
 In response to your feedback, we’ve added a new category to the Trademark Design Search Code Manual for identifying sound and motion marks. Now you can use design search codes in category 30 to search directly for these marks in the trademark search system instead of searching for key words in the mark description field.
You can even use the new codes to search for specific types of sounds, such as music, human speech, and animal sounds. Previously, you couldn’t refine your search results in this way.
