Delayed Delivery of Courtesy Ceremonial Copies starting October 16
Effective October 16, 2025, delivery of courtesy ceremonial copies of eGrants will be delayed by up to 90 days. There is no impact on the timely issuance of electronic patent grant (eGrant), which is the official statutory patent grant.
eGrants can be accessed through Patent Center at https://patentcenter.uspto.gov/ or the Open Data Portal at https://data.uspto.gov/home.
Assistance in electronically accessing the patent, or about Patent Center, is available by calling the Patent Electronic Business Center at 1-866-217-9197, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.
Other copies, including presentation copies and certified copies, continue to be available from the USPTO’s Certified Copy Center at https://certifiedcopycenter.uspto.gov/.
