Act now to secure your account
If you use text messages (SMS) or phone calls to verify your identity when you log into your USPTO.gov account, you must switch to a more secure method.
Take action by April 30. Our webpage outlines several options and has links to helpful resources. Note that email verification is an option that is always available to you. Starting May 1, you can no longer use SMS or phone calls when verifying your identity for your account.
For general questions, reach out to the USPTO Contact Center. Support is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET (except federal holidays).
If you need support configuring Okta Verify as an authorization method, email OktaVerify.Help@uspto.gov.
