Hear from USPTO Deputy Director Derrick Brent at Pathways to Inclusive Innovation
Join us at our next Patent Pro Bono Program: Pathways to inclusive innovation event on October 11 from 12:30-5:30 p.m. ET, virtually or in person at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. Welcome and opening remarks for this event will be provided by Derrick Brent, Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Deputy Director of the USPTO.
"The USPTO is working to strengthen our innovation economy by making it more inclusive and equitable for all," said Deputy Director Brent. During this event, leaders in the intellectual property (IP) and small business community will share their stories and tips on how to protect your IP via patents and trademarks. We welcome all current and aspiring entrepreneurs interested in learning more about:
- Succeeding in business

- Expanding business networks
In-person attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with USPTO experts and learn about resources specific to their needs. A detailed agenda with speakers is listed on our event page.
