The fee schedule has been updated with the following changes effective January 1, 2020:
PCT International Stage
- 1628/2628/3628: New fee codes for requesting restoration of the right of priority when filing PCT international application later than the expiration of the priority period but within two months from the expiration of the priority period (see 37 CFR 1.452)
PCT Fees to Foreign Offices
- 1701: International filing fee (first 30 pages – filed electronically without ePCT or PCT-EASY .zip file) – fee decrease from $1,250 to $1,236
- 1710: International filing fee (first 30 pages – filed electronically with ePCT or PCT-EASY .zip file) – fee decrease from $1,149 to $1,136
- 1702: International filing fee (first 30 pages) – fee decrease from $1,352 to $1,337
- 1704: International search (EPO) – fee decrease from $2,053 to $1,950
- 1715: International search (ILPO) – fee increase from $963 to $1,016
- 1712: International search (IPAU) – fee decrease from $1,492 to $1,483
- 1717: International search (IPOS) – fee decrease from $1,633 to $1,622
- 1716: International search (JPO) – fee decrease from $1,472 to $1,457
- 1709: International search (KIPO) – fee increase from $991 to $1,003
- 1714: International search (Rospatent) – fee increase from $612 to $616
- 1705: Handling fee – fee decrease from $203 to $201
- 1706: Handling fee – 90% reduction, if applicant meets specified criteria – fee decrease from $20.30 to $20.10
