Sign-up is now open to attend the USPTO's three-day
training course on examination practice and procedure, May 9-11, at the agency's Rocky Mountain Regional Office in Denver, Colorado. The
course is offered to members of the public as part of our Stakeholder Training on Examination Practice and
Procedure (STEPP) program, intended
for those who have recently passed the Patent Bar for the purpose of practicing
before the USPTO. The training will make use of statutes, rules, and guidelines
relevant to practicing before the USPTO and will be led by USPTO trainers based on material developed for training patent examiners and other
