The USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) will host a special Boardside Chat on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from noon to 1 p.m. ET. The webinar will showcase the new PTAB End-to-End electronic filing system, which will replace the PRPS system for filing documents in AIA trial proceedings which include inter partes review, post grant review and transition program for covered business methods (IPR, PGR, and CBM).

During the webinar, IT experts will demonstrate how to register to use the system, file documents, and search for previously made filings. The new PTAB End-to-End system will be deployed on Monday, July 11, 2016 for AIA trials which include IPR, PGR, and CBM. On that date, the PRPS system will be available for document filings in derivation proceedings only. Eventually, the PTAB End-to-End system will be expanded for use in ex parte appeals and derivation proceedings, though it will not be used for interference proceedings.

The webinar is free. Please join to learn more and ask questions you may have about the new system.
