 Good afternoon,
Today the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) posted two new fact sheets 1) Leave Upon Transfer or Separation and 2) Paid Time Off Upon Transfer or Separation summarizing in table format the statutory and regulatory provisions that address what happens to an employee’s leave and paid time off upon the employee’s transfer to another agency or separation from Federal service. The new fact sheets provide a consolidated resource for information about different leave and paid time off programs and should be considered a reference tool for agencies, payroll providers, and employees to ensure a smooth transition during a transfer or separation.
