This notification is to inform the HR Community that the EHRI Data Standards, Personnel Office Identifier (POI) codes, and Duty Station codes have been transitioned from OPM.gov and are now available on Connect.gov. The Connect.gov platform allows users to easily:

Download all EHRI data elements, POI codes, and duty station codes.

Search all data elements using interactive tables, including both current and past values.

Access comprehensive information required for federal HR, payroll, and training data reporting.
Available Resources on Connect.gov:

EHRI Data Standards: A complete reference for federal agencies outlining standards for HR-related data elements, including definitions, valid values, and reporting instructions.

Personnel Office Identifier (POI) Codes: Unique codes used to identify federal civilian personnel offices with delegated HR authorities.

Duty Station Codes: Official names and codes for duty stations required for processing personnel actions and reporting workforce data.
Please note that a Max.gov account is required to login to Connect.gov. Any federal employee with a government email address may register for a free account here.
We encourage agencies to review their data needs and update any references or bookmarks to reflect this transition. Keeping your POI contact information up to date remains essential, as these details are used by OPM and other federal entities to support government-wide data analysis, surveys, and reporting.
