Today OPM issued a memorandum titled, "Guidance Regarding Redesignating CHCO Positions." Agencies with a CHCO role designated career-reserved SES should complete this brief template to re-designate the position as SES general and return it to OPM at Allocation-Management@opm.gov no later than March 24, 2025.
Agency headquarters-level human resources offices may email Allocation-Management@opm.gov if they have any follow up questions. Component-level human resources offices must contact their agency headquarters for assistance.
