RFP for Campaign on Heart Attack Symptoms and Calling 9-1-1 for Spanish-Speaking Women, from the Office on Women’s Health (OWH)

Funding is available for activities and events in support of the 2013 Spanish-language awareness campaign Haga La Llamada. No Pierdas El Ritmo (“Make the Call. Don’t Miss a Beat.”). The campaign’s goal is to encourage Spanish-speaking Latinas over age 50 from across the country to recognize the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and to call 9-1-1 promptly. Awardees will identify spokespeople and conduct outreach to the media and at public events. Community-based partnerships and collaborations with Hispanic/Latino organizations/entities are strongly encouraged. One $10,000 award will be made per DHHS region.
