The annual observance of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDAW) highlights the impact of eating disorders across the United States, particularly for women and girls, and uplifts resources and services for those seeking help. This year’s observance takes place from February 24 to March 2, 2025. Throughout the week, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office on Women’s Health (OWH) joins organizations, health professionals, and communities across the country to reduce stigma, support recovery, and connect individuals with helpful resources.

This year’s theme, “Break the Silence, Embrace Recovery: Addressing Eating Disorders in Midlife,” focuses on the challenges that many women face in their 40s, 50s, and beyond which can increase the risk of eating disorders such as hormonal changes, body image struggles, and societal pressures.

OWH’s 2025 NEDAW resources are now live at https://www.womenshealth.gov/nedaw.
Visit this page throughout the week to explore our resources and access the 2025 toolkit
