Don’t miss your chance to join us on March 10 for a National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day event — The Best Defense Is a Good Offense: A Walk for HIV Prevention. By walking with us, inviting others to attend, and posting content to social media using the hashtags #NWGHAAD and #BestDefense, you are helping to raise awareness of the continuing need to prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS among women and girls.

Event: The Best Defense Is a Good Offense: A Walk for HIV Prevention.

What: A community walk to help bring awareness to and prevent HIV and AIDS among women and girls.

When: Thursday, March 10, 2016, 11:45 a.m.–1:15 p.m. Register today.

Where: The walk (1.2 miles) begins at the National Sylvan Theater (Washington Memorial Driveway SW, Washington, DC 20024) and ends at the Hubert H. Humphrey Building (200 Independence Avenue SW, Washington, DC 20201).

Special invited guests include: U.S. Surgeon General Vice Admiral Vivek H. Murthy, M.D., M.B.A.; District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser; and Danni Starr of The Kane Show on Hot 99.5.
