  • The Glaucoma Foundation (TGF): 2015 Grants Program. The area of current focus is exfoliation syndrome and exfoliation glaucoma. Deadline is January 1, 2015. Learn more.
  • The Advisory Board Company, deBeaumont Foundation, the Kresge Foundation, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation: BUILD Health Challenge - Community Health Collaborations.   • American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)/Conquer Cancer Foundation: Medical Student Rotation (MSR) for Underrepresented Populations.   • Massachusetts General Hospital/Disparities Solutions Center (DSC): Request for applications for the 2015-2016 Disparities Leadership Program. Deadline for letter of intent is December 12, 2014. Learn more
  • American Heart Association/Go Red for Women and Macy’s: Go Red Multicultural Scholarship Fund. This program provides funds to minority women pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in healthcare fields. Deadline is December 31, 2014. Learn more.
  • Morehouse School of Medicine/Satcher Health Leadership Institute: Health Policy Leadership Fellowship Program. This program will provide physicians and postdoctoral professionals with knowledge, skills, and experiences to prepare them for leadership roles promoting policies and practices to reduce health disparities. Affordable Care Act (ACA)

  • November 15 kicked off the start of a new open enrollment period for the Health Insurance Marketplace, where millions of Americans can go to compare and buy health insurance plans for 2015 through HealthCare.gov, the call center or in-person assistance. Consumers purchasing or renewing plans on the Marketplace will find an increase in their options for affordable, quality coverage this year. December 15 is the last day to renew or sign up to get coverage beginning on January 1.
