The Office of Minority Health announces a new e-learning program for health professionals interested in disaster and emergency management

The Office of Minority Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services now offers an updated, free, accredited e-learning program for emergency personnel and health professionals about culturally and linguistically appropriate services in disasters or emergencies. The Cultural Competency Program for Disaster and Emergency Management offers free continuing education credits and a flexible, self-paced learning experience. The program aims to equip professionals with essential skills to deliver equitable and respectful services during mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
