The Confluence of Cancer Stigma and HIV Stigma in HIV-positive Individuals Diagnosed with Cancer
Grant from the NIH to support research that expands the current understanding of the confluence of cancer stigma and HIV stigma among people with HIV (PWH) diagnosed with cancer; assesses the impact of these two converging stigmas on cancer outcomes among PWH with cancer; leverages stigma reduction interventions at multiple levels to intervene on modifiable mechanisms of stigma that contribute to negative cancer outcomes among PWH with cancer; and promotes research in domestic and international contexts, focusing on regions in which the HIV-cancer burden is elevated. Deadline is December 10.

Translating Socioenvironmental Influences on Neurocognitive Development and Addiction Risk (TranSINDA)
Cooperative agreement from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) invites applications for a Data Coordination Center (DCC) for the TranSINDA Consortium at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). The DCC will serve as the organizational hub for the management and sharing of TranSINDA data, build a modern data ecosystem that integrates the data repository under common data standards, and serve as a resource for software tools for large scale data query, analysis, visualization, and integration. Deadline is December 3.
Halting Tuberculosis (TB) Transmission
Grant from the NIH to understand the critical drivers of TB transmission at the individual and population levels in high-burden settings; to develop effective methods to measure rates of TB transmission that rely on an increased understanding of the biomedical basis of transmission and related risk factors; and assess potential interventions, including low-cost and low-tech options, to prevent TB transmission and detect infectious TB. Deadline is December 4.
Interventions to Address HIV-Related Comorbidities among Highly Affected Populations Experiencing Health Disparities
Grant from the NIH to support multilevel and multidisciplinary intervention research to improve quality of life and promote successful aging among people with HIV associated non-AIDS comorbidities across the life course from racial and ethnic and lower socioeconomic status groups.
