OMH Knowledge Center May 2024 Acquisitions

The HHS Office of Minority Health (OMH) maintains an extensive collection of documents and journal articles specifically related to minority health. The OMH online library catalog provides access to the nation’s largest repository of information dedicated to the health of minority populations within the United States and its territories. The collection includes more than 75,000 articles, documents, books, journals, audiovisual materials, and catalogued organizations related to the health status of racial and ethnic minority and American Indian/Alaska Native populations. OMH developed a set of resource guides to provide guidance on best practices to advance cultural competency, language access, and sensitivity toward Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander populations in the context of the federal COVID-19 response, in accordance with the Presidential Memorandum Condemning and Combating Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance Against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
