National Women’s Health Week: May 12-18

Women

Every year, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office on Women's Health (OWH) leads the National Women's Health Week (NWHW) observance. This observance takes place from May 12 to May 18 and aims to raise awareness about the health issues and priorities that affect women and girls throughout their lives. The 2024 NWHW theme is "Empowering Women, Cultivating Health: Celebrating Voices, Wellness, and Resilience." The goal is to support women in feeling empowered in their health journey, which includes physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

To actively engage in NWHW and contribute to its reach, explore the NWHW daily topics and ready-to-use toolkit. The toolkit serves as a comprehensive resource hub and is packed with a variety of materials, including videos, fact sheets, social media messages, graphics, and more, all designed to help you spread the word and make a difference. Use the hashtag #NWHW in your social media posts and tag us on Twitter/X (@womenshealth) to share how you are celebrating NWHW.
