August 6-12 is National Health Center Week

NJCW

National Health Center Week is an annual, week-long health observance that celebrates and increases awareness of America’s 1,400 community health centers, providing quality, comprehensive healthcare services to more than 30 million patients across 14,500 communities annually.

This year’s theme, The Roadmap to a Stronger America, highlights the achievements and work done at community health centers in every state and territory. During the observance week, commemorate and celebrate the future of community health by promoting and participating in the dedicated focus days.

Project Management Plus is a proven, scalable, and cost-effective low-intensity mental health intervention trained non-clinical workers can deliver for people experiencing common mental health conditions, such as anxiety or depression, or stressful life problems.

The Future Leaders Program is an initiative by the Western Region Public Health Training Center at the University of Arizona to support students conducting applied public health experiences by providing training and funding during the course of their projects.
