HHS Releases Health+Long COVID Report
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has released the Heath+ Long COVID Report highlighting the experiences of people living with Long COVID to better understand it and help drive solutions. The report describes the Health+ program’s human-centered design, includes patient descriptions and journeys, and offers recommendations on delivering high-quality care and resources to support individuals and families affected by Long COVID. The report builds on the
President’s Memorandum on Addressing the Long-Term Effects
of COVID-19, and the two previously issued HHS Long COVID reports.

Let's Take Charge! Lupus Research Inclusivity and Diversity Campaign
The HHS Office of Minority Health (OMH) joined forces with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Office of Minority Health and Health Equity (FDA OMHHE) for the Let’s Take Charge! Campaign, an initiative to make lupus research more inclusive and diverse.
This campaign raises awareness about the importance of racial and ethnic minority participation in clinical trials while also addressing patient concerns and myths about research. Together, we can advance health equity and improve the lives of those impacted by this chronic, incurable disease.

California Domestic Violence Mobile Health Care Services Program
Funding from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services will provide domestic violence victims/survivors and their children in California access to COVID-19 testing, vaccines, and primary healthcare through weekly mobile healthcare visits.

Conversations on Rural Health Disparities in New York Micro-Grants

NIMHD Health Disparities Research Institute
The National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD)’s Health Disparities Research Institute (HDRI) supports the career development of promising early-career minority health and health disparities research scientists and stimulates research in the disciplines supported by health disparities science. The HDRI features lectures on minority health and health disparities research, small group discussions, mock grant review, and seminars. Program participants will have the opportunity to meet with NIH scientific staff engaged in related health disparities research across the various NIH Institutes and Centers.
