Evaluation of the National CLAS Standards: Tips and Resources
  • HHS/Office of Minority Health (OMH): New CLAS Report and Toolkit. OMH has developed a framework and toolkit to guide health care organizations' efforts in evaluating their implementation of the National CLAS Standards. The toolkit distills the elements of the framework and can help guide evaluations across four settings (ambulatory care, behavioral health, hospitals and public health).

  • HHS/OMH: Youth Health Equity Model of Practice (YHEMOP) Summer 2019 Placement Site Application. The YHEMOP program provides short-term health equity fellowships to students enrolled in higher education studies.   • HHS/Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)Healthy Transitions: Improving Life Trajectories for Youth and Young Adults with Serious Mental Disorders Program. Eligibility is limited to state, tribal or territorial agencies that oversee delivery of mental health services to youth (16-25) with serious mental disorders.

  • HHS/Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA): Primary Care Training and Enhancement - Physician Assistant (PA) Program. Eligible applicants must be academically affiliated PA training programs, accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant

  • HHS/National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)Genetic Engineering Technologies for HIV Cure Research (U19 Clinical Trial Optional) Cooperative Agreement.

  • Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI)Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Awards - Capacity Building.   • American Psychological Foundation: Trauma Psychology Grant. Supports the work of early-career psychologists (no more than ten years postdoctoral) to alleviate trauma.

  • University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public HealthNIH Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Disparities Research. Provides training and mentoring in interdisciplinary research that addresses disparities in health status and health outcomes among minority populations with an emphasis on maternal/child, adolescent and family health.

  • HHS/NIH, NIAID: Interventional (Clinical Trial) study. A Phase 1, Single Dose Study of the Safety and Virologic Effect of an HIV-1 Specific Broadly Neutralizing Human Monoclonal Antibody, VRC-HIVMAB080-00-AB (VRC01LS) or VRC-HIVMAB075-00-AB (VRC07-523LS), Administered Intravenously to HIV-Infected Adults. NIH researchers seek volunteers ages 18-70 who are HIV infected but otherwise healthy. Study to be conducted at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD and the AIDS Clinical Trials Group in Silver Spring, MD. Learn more.

  • HHS/NIH, NIAID: Interventional (Clinical Trial) study. Safety of and Immune Response to Dolutegravir in HIV-1 Infected Infants, Children, and Adolescents. NIH researchers seek children at least 4 weeks but younger than 18 years of age with a confirmed HIV-1 infection. A Parent or legal guardian able and willing to provide signed informed consent. Study to be conducted at various locations in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, and Washington. Learn more.
