- The HHS/NIH, National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) have published new study results in the American Heart Association journal, Hypertension: Physical Activity and Incident Hypertension in African Americans. NIH researchers are reporting the strongest evidence to date that moderate to vigorous exercise, when done regularly, can help reduce the risk of hypertension in African Americans. Learn more.

During this webinar, National Indian Health Board staff will provide an in-depth analysis of the TBHA, including its five foundational elements, and will provide an overview of the various strategies and recommendations it puts forth for addressing behavioral health concerns. - The Office of Minority Health Resource Center is pleased to partner with 11 organizations to provide HIV prevention services and referral to care of hard-to-reach Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities through September 2018. Agencies will conduct health information campaigns and will utilize their expertise in connecting with AANHPI communities. These subcontracts will strengthen existing HIV/AIDS programs, HIV testing, and improvement of HIV/AIDS networks to increase AANHPI community referrals into HIV treatment and care. Agencies will demonstrate how they provide culturally competent care and create culturally and linguistically appropriate health information campaign materials. Learn more.

radiation therapy for cancer at least three months ago and have high fatigue based on the total score from a
