Recent increases in migrants from the African continent, as well as advances in understanding hepatitis B epidemiology and prevention, has necessitated attention to hepatitis B knowledge and prevention in African immigrant communities.

This webinar will provide information and raise awareness about:

  • risks, diagnosis and treatment for hepatitis B
  • the influence of social-cultural and religious values on hepatitis B prevention and treatment
  • barriers to prevention and treatment
  • strategies to engage African immigrant communities in hepatitis B education, treatment and prevention
