Hep B Among African Immigrants: Knowledge, Attitudes and Behavior

Recent increases in migrants from the African continent, as well as advances in understanding hepatitis B epidemiology and prevention, has necessitated attention to hepatitis B knowledge and prevention in African immigrant communities.
This webinar will provide information and raise awareness about:
- risks, diagnosis and treatment for hepatitis B
- the influence of social-cultural and religious values on hepatitis B prevention and treatment
- barriers to prevention and treatment
- strategies to engage African immigrant communities in hepatitis B education, treatment and prevention
This webinar targets health care providers and social service agencies working with African immigrant communities.
