Federal Grants

  • HHS/Indian Health Service (IHS), Office of Clinical and Preventive Services: Methamphetamine and Suicide Prevention Initiative (MSPI) Purpose Area 4: Generation Indigenous Support. Projects under this purpose area concentrate efforts on Native youth and families by focusing on promoting early intervention strategies and implementation of positive youth development programming to reduce risk factors for suicidal behavior and substance abuse. These funding opportunities are available to Tribes, Tribal organizations, urban Indian organizations, and IHS federal facilities. Deadline is August 1, 2016. Learn more
  • US Department of Agriculture (USDA)/Rural Development: Socially Disadvantaged Group Grants. Provides technical assistance to socially-disadvantaged groups through cooperatives and Cooperative Development Centers. Deadline is August 1, 2016. Learn more
  • HHS/Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA): Health Center Program's Service Area Competition (SAC). Supports public and private non-profit organizations that provide primary and preventive health care services to the medically underserved. Deadline is August 16, 2016. Learn more

Non-Federal Grants

  • Avon Breast Cancer Crusade: Breast Health Outreach Program (BHOP). Provides grants to non-profit organizations that conduct outreach, provide breast cancer education, and link medically underserved populations to clinical screening services. Eligibility includes organizations based in Guam, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Deadline is August 19, 2016. Learn more

Scholarships / Fellowships
