Clinical Info Releases New Drug Summary on Investigational HIV Drug

A new drug summary about an investigational HIV drug called GSK3640254 is available on Clinical Info.

GSK3640254 is being studied to treat HIV infection and is currently in Phase IIb development. It is a maturation inhibitor and works during the last stage of the HIV life cycle to inhibit the formation of mature, infectious virus. Maturation inhibitors target HIV differently than currently approved HIV drugs and may potentially offer new treatment options for individuals who may have experienced resistance to other HIV medications.
