The Fire Science Innovations through Research and Education (FIRE) Program

The U.S. National Science Foundation joins forces with NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense SERDP & ESTCP and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation to transform the future of wildland fire research and education. By building partnerships across disciplines, sectors and regions, the program aims to deliver large-scale breakthroughs that address wildland fire impacts.

Full proposals are due between June 12, 2025 and June 20, 2025, thereafter annually between February 3 and February 10.
