Register for the webinar on Notice of Funding Opportunity 2 (NOFO 2) of the NTIA Public Wireless Supply Chain Innovation Fund
The U.S. National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) invite you to participate in a webinar on the Notice of Funding Opportunity 2 (NOFO 2) of the NTIA Public Wireless Supply Chain Innovation Fund (PWSCIF) on Wednesday June 5, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. Eastern Time (ET).
NSF and NTIA staff will share information and answer questions from webinar participants about the PWSCIF, NOFO 2 and the Specific Research Focus Area 2 (SRFA 2) on Radio Unit (RU) innovation. This will be followed by breakout sessions designed to stimulate discussion around Radio Innovation Topic Areas of interest to SRFA 2 of NOFO 2.
Funded by the “CHIPS and Science Act of 2022,” the $1.5 billion PWSCIF aims to drive wireless innovation, foster competition, and strengthen supply chain resilience. Round 2 of PWSCIF funding specifically aims to drive commercialization and innovation in open radio units, which will strengthen the supply chain.
