LAST CALL FOR PAPER AND PANEL PROPOSALS
DUE THIS TUESDAY, 18 NOVEMBER 2025
Friendly reminder:
Paper and panel proposals are due this coming Tuesday for “Accelerating Warfighting Capabilities,” the NPS 23rd Annual Acquisition Research Symposium & Innovation Summit, May 6-7, 2026, in Monterey, CA. Submit yours at www.researchsymposium.com .
Given the newly announced, very substantial changes to the defense acquisition enterprise, your research, insight, and ideas are more vital than ever! (In case you missed it, see the details here.)
In keeping with recent executive orders, DOD memoranda, and ongoing reform efforts, the goal of this event is to explore and promote innovative ways to enhance readiness, deter adversaries, and increase warfighting capabilities by reviving our defense industrial base, transforming our acquisition process, and rapidly fielding emerging technologies.
We welcome paper and panel proposals that address these areas of concern, as well as any other topics related to accelerating warfighting capabilities in procurement, acquisition, requirements, test and evaluation, shipbuilding and maritime dominance, space systems acquisition, contracting and commercial solutions, research and development, program management, acquisition workforce, industrial base and supply chain, emerging technologies, risk-taking and innovation, technology transition, contested logistics, and readiness.
SHUTDOWN POINT OF CONTACT
The Acquisition Research Program is supported by contractors who will remain at work during the government shutdown. If you have any questions about paper topics and submission guidelines, please contact Maureen Lauder at ARP@nps.edu.
