For many years NOAA Planet Stewards has held an after hours informal social gathering the evening before the NSTA National Conference, and we'd like you to join us! Meet NOAA Planet Stewards educators and valued NOAA partners from around the country - and anyone else who would like to connect with the NOAA Planet Stewards. With standards-aligned teaching materials, tutorials, hands-on activities, Professional Development, and funding opportunities up to $5,000, NOS Education supports ocean, coastal, and climate learning at ALL levels and engages students and communities in hands-on stewardship.

Meet Me In The Middle Share-A-Thon - Explore classroom ready, NGSS aligned, Earth science resources from NOAA Ocean Service Education

NOAA Ocean Service Education offers classroom ready, standards aligned ocean, coastal, Earth, and climate science resources for teachers to immediately plug into existing curriculum, as well as opportunities to receive up to $5000 in funding to develop and carry out stewardship projects in their school or community.

NOAA workshop - Explore the Ocean, Weather, Climate Connections with Teek & Tom, NOAA’s New Animated Series and Lesson Plans

Teek and Tom Explore Planet Earth investigates the relationship between the ocean, weather and climate on local to global scales. You’ll sample some of the ten hands-on activities for upper ES and MS students to reinforce Earth science concepts related to oceanography, meteorology and climate.

This event will be for NESTA (National Earth Science Teachers Association) Friends of Earth Science to gather after hours, socialize, and celebrate the individuals who have contributed to NESTA as an organization, and have made significant contributions to Earth science education.
There will be a special recognition ceremony for
NOAA Planet Stewards Educators at the reception!
If you are now or have ever been a NOAA Planet Stewards educator (or a NOAA Climate Stewards educator - you know who you are), and will be attending NSTA, you are invited to this reception. We want to recognize you for making a significant contribution to Earth science education and stewardship in your community.
