Proposed Chumash Heritage National Marine Sanctuary Newsletter

In an effort to provide more education and outreach regarding the proposed designation of Chumash Heritage National Marine Sanctuary, NOAA's Office of National Marine Sanctuaries (ONMS) West Coast Regional Office will be producing periodic newsletters to be posted on the proposed Chumash Heritage National Marine Sanctuary website. The very first newsletter is now available for you on the website. This newsletter, and future newsletters, will contain information on the current step in the proposed designation process, any upcoming workshops or deadlines for public comments, and interesting information about ONMS and the area proposed for designation.
