Test the New BETA NGS Map

This map provides the ability to view multiple datasets provided by the National Geodetic Survey.  These datasets are:

  1. NGS Datasheets
  2. OPUS Shared Solutions
  3. NOAA CORS Network

This application not only allows users to plot these datasets but there is a measuring tool available, multiple basemaps, a select tool to select and export data as well as an attribute table to view all the attributes and filter the datasets by their attributes.

Please note: NGS provides authoritative geodetic control information on NGS Datasheets. OPUS shared solutions do not have the redundancy or quality assurance required by NGS and are not intended for use as geodetic control

Watch our recently recorded webinar on “NGS Geospatial Resources.” This webinar highlighted several NGS web maps, including the NGS Data Explorer, OPUS Share Map, and GPS on Bench Marks web map. It also highlighted data files and web services that feed these maps and how to access them. Many of these services are available in ArcGIS Online (AGOL), which allows users and other organizations to add this data to their own web maps for discovery and analysis.
