NGS is Considering Observation Age Limits NGS also published a Federal Register Notice on Friday, July 24, Consideration of Potential Age-Limiting Observations To Be Used To Compute 2020.00 Reference Epoch Coordinates in the National Spatial Reference System. This announcement provides users of the NSRS with advance notice that geodetic control points of interest to them should be re-surveyed for the most accurate representation of geodetic coordinates, including heights.
