NGS plans to replace the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83) and the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88) in 2022.

We will share updates and discuss the progress of
related modernization projects. Stakeholders across the federal, public, and private sectors will also be providing feedback on these efforts.
