Help Shape Restoration in Northern New Jersey: Share Your Project Ideas

The Federal Natural Resource Trustees for the Diamond Alkali Superfund Site (the Site)—NOAA and the U.S. Department of the Interior—have launched a new project submission portal for community members and partners to suggest restoration ideas. These submissions will help inform a restoration plan relating to the Site.

Submit your project via our online portal or mail by April 30, 2026.

Restoring Coastal Communities After Pollution

For over 30 years, NOAA and partners have recovered over $10.8 billion to restore fish, wildlife, and habitats harmed by pollution. Restoration also provides economic and cultural benefits to coastal populations, benefiting local communities and ocean economies.
