In anticipation of the 2026 February North Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) meeting, the NOAA Fisheries Alaska Regional Office invites you to consult with us on chum salmon bycatch in the Bering Sea pollock fishery.

We will also be hosting a Tribal engagement session on the following topics that are scheduled for Council action in February:
- Chum salmon bycatch in the Bering Sea Pollock fishery, including the alternative management measures that the Council is considering; and
- Cook Inlet salmon harvest specifications. The Council will review the stock assessment and recommend the 2026 Overfishing Limit/Allowable Biological Catch/Total Allowable Catch.
