NOAA Fisheries Initiation of Government-to-Government and Government-to-Corporation Tribal Consultation for Action Items at the 2025 October North Pacific Fishery Management Council
Dear Tribal Leaders and Tribal Representatives,
The NOAA Fisheries Alaska Regional Office invites you to consult with us prior to the 2025 October North Pacific Fishery Management Council meeting. Topics scheduled for action on the Council agenda are subject to change. In addition to other items, the following topics may be of interest and, as of now, are planned to be discussed for potential Council action at the October meeting:
- Maximum Retainable Amounts Adjustments for Groundfish Species - final action
- Observer 2026 Annual Deployment Plan - review
- Bering Sea Aleutian Islands Crab Specifications - reviews/report adoption
- Groundfish Harvest Specifications - proposed
- Individual Fishing Quota/Community Quota Entity Changes - discussion paper
- Essential Fish habitat Workplan - review
- Programmatic Evaluation - discussion
