End Date for 2022 Post-Season Quota Trading Period in the Pacific Coast Groundfish Trawl Individual Fishing Quota Program

NOAA Fisheries announces the end date of the 2022 post-season quota pound (QP) trading period in the Pacific Coast Groundfish Trawl Individual Fishing Quota Program. 2021 landings and discard catch accounting data collected by the West Coast Groundfish Observer Program, Shorebased Catch Monitor Program, and Electronic Monitoring Program have been finalized as of September 15, 2022. The post-season trading period will remain open for 14 days on finalization of catch accounting data, and following this public notice.
The 2022 post-season trading period will close on September 29, 2022, at 11:59pm PDT. Post-season transfers of unused QP will not be accepted after midnight, 12:00am, September 30, 2022.
