Cybersecurity Awareness Month is Just Around the Corner. Check Out the NIST Small Business Cybersecurity Corner for Small Business Cybersecurity and Privacy Resources

There are over 70 resources featured on the NIST Small Business Cybersecurity Corner—all tailored to small business. These include short videos, tip sheets, case studies, quick start guides, and guidance organized by both topic and industry. The resources are all free and draw from information produced by federal agencies, including NIST, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, or CISA, as well as non-profit organizations.

We bring them all together in one place so you have a one-stop-shop for this information. These resources are regularly updated and expanded to keep the content fresh and relevant.

A few highlights:

Check out the NIST Cybersecurity Framework page—in particular, the Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 Small Business Quick Start Guide. This voluntary guidance provides small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs), specifically those that have modest or no cybersecurity plans in place, with considerations to kick-start their cybersecurity risk management strategy using the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0. 
Join a Small Business Cybersecurity Community of Interest. Co-led by industry members, these groups create opportunities for the direct exchange of information, resources, and ideas between NIST and the nation’s small business community. The groups meet virtually for an hour once per quarter.
Attend one of our small business events. On October 23, 2024, we’ll be hosting a webinar on “Identity and Access Management Fundamentals for Small Business. You can also review recordings from past events in our event archive.
