Overview of the Seized Drugs Process Map

The Organization of Scientific Area Committees (OSAC) for Forensic Science’s Seized Drugs Subcommittee has developed a process map that captures the decision-making and process flow details most frequently encountered in the discipline of seized drug examination and processing.  

Seized drug practitioners are required to make many decisions that can impact the quality and accuracy of their results. This process map can benefit the discipline by providing a behind-the-scenes perspective into the various components and decision points in the examination process.
