Registration Ends Tomorrow | NIST Virtual Workshop on Preventing & Recovering from Ransomware
 Registration for our NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) virtual workshop, ‘Preventing and Recovering from Ransomware and Other Destructive Cyber Events’ closes tomorrow. This virtual workshop will take place next week on July 14th at 11:00 AM EDT and will provide an opportunity for participants to share feedback on several ransomware-related areas of focus, such as: standards, guidelines, and recommended practices; use cases and technologies; and sources of specifications and guidance. Government and industry subject matter experts and practitioners are encouraged to attend to share their views related to challenges to implementation, operations, and security associated with the mitigation of ransomware attacks.
NIST will use the information gathered during this workshop to help accelerate the development of a future playbook for mitigation of ransomware attacks. We look forward to seeing you there!
