In preparation for the FY2012-2013 Cooperative Agreement Renewal cycle, Center Operations will conduct a Renewal webcast on Feb 23, 2012 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm EST. All centers are highly encouraged to participate in this webcast as it will cover the updates and changes in the Operating Plan Guidelines and MEP General Terms and Conditions applicable to your Cooperative Agreements’ Renewal for FY 2012-2013. The webinar will highlight the changes to the format and content of your operating plan and changes to the MEP General Terms and Conditions and focus on the requirements for timely processing of your Cooperative Agreement. “Made in America” Webcast & Opportunities from Edison Nation
Webcast: Bringing "Made in America" Back to American Innovation
Join us in a webcast on Thursday, February 9, at 2:00 pm EST to learn more about the Edison Nation Made in America program and what it can do for your manufacturing clients. The second retailer to participate in this program is PepBoys, who is looking for U.S. based manufacturers that are capable of and interested in making production quantities for four new product ideas. These products will be sold at PepBoys retail outlets and offered through their web store.
This is a great opportunity for U.S. based manufacturers to bid on making products with a guaranteed large distribution channel. The four product idea request for quotes and bid packages were sent out via GovDelivery late last week.

"Made in America" Opportunities from Pep Boys
Pep Boys is looking for U.S.-based manufacturers that are capable of making production quantities for four new product ideas. These products will be sold at Pep Boys retail outlets. This is the second “call for manufacturers” from the Edison Nation®/NIST MEP partnership to bolster U.S.-based manufacturing.
We need your help. This is a great opportunity for U.S.-based manufacturers to bid on making products with a guaranteed large distribution channel. Please send these requests out to your company networks. With the reach of the MEP network we can help to catalyze these new opportunities for U.S. companies.

Manufacturing Innovation 2012 – Early Bird Registration / Room Rate
May 5 – 9, 2012 we will be hosting our Manufacturing Innovation 2012 event in Orlando, FL. We will be returning once again to the Orlando World Center Marriott, which has proven to be an ideal location for our events each year. We have a few pricing options available for this year's event. From February 29th - March 27th the price will go up to $1,050 and then after March 27th the price will increase to $1,150 . . . so make sure to register early.
